what i need to do to pass smog in ca. i have a crx with ls swap?
or is it just better to get someone to look the other way when i get it smogged?
i need a smog test any refferals within san diego would be nice too...

 

basically you have to have your car wired up as an integra and take it to a smog referee where they will look over your car and basically reregister it into the system as an integra. thats the only legal way to do it. if your lucky you can take it to some ma and pa shop that wont know you have a swap but if you get caught you will be going to the smog referre and well they wont be leniet on you if you were sent there for infraction as opposed to going in yourself.

 

As long as its the same year or newer than the car, is running the proper ECU for the engine, and have either CARB legal intake/header/etc or stock components, you should have no problem going to the Referee and getting it BAR approved assuming it passes the tailpipe.

After you do that, you can get it smogged anywhere.

There is a referee in Chula Vista as well as Escondido I believe.

my exhaust is blowin smoke in high rpm range... i dont think its gonna pass smog..

 

Take it to a mom and pop smog place, and ask to just run the numbers. And give em a few bux. Mines not passing either, so ive been changing stuff, and checking my numbers.
