You can use the USDM fenders, but the headlights will need to be changed.

you can use USDM fenders and rad support.

you will need (for a JDM SiR front end - the one i have and eveyone wants to do):

Hood
Headlights
Bumper Cover
Bumper Lights
Corner Lights are optional. JDM Corner lights are all clear and only use 1 bulb (no side bulb) because of Sidemarkers on the JDM cars.

I didnt want sidemarkers, so i kept my USDM corner lights and fenders. and did the rest of the conversion.

My GF didn't want to do the whole conversion like i did, so she got parts that fit a USDM front bumper - ZC metal hood, JDM Corner lights and JDM sidemarkers.

My Front:

My GFs Front (still in progress as you can see )

to continue a bit more -

My JDM front uses wider headlights than USDM. which means the hood cutouts and bumper cutouts are too short on the USDM parts, hence why you need those parts. the bumper has wrap around bumper lights, so that requires the bumper lights to fit properly.

On the other side- a ZC hood has cutouts for headlights that are the same size as USDM, so it will not interfeer with cutouts for the USDM headlights and overall fitting.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

????? you mean the rad support?? not required for an SiR conversion. they are the same shape, but the JDM one has a whole for the JDM OEM intake. or do you mean the metal piece that goes under the headlights?? that is a JDM EF9/Hatchback part only. JDM CRX has cutouts for the headlights like a USDM CRX. HBs are different

and a JDM bumper does not require a bumper support piece. they have different saftey regulations than we do. a JDM bumper bolts wher the USDM bumper support would go.

That's only for the Civic. The CRX uses a one piece bumper.

Similar to what I did... I used USDM fenders and radiator support, but went with JDM corner lamps. The USDM radiator support will need to be modified to fit properly, as will the SiR radiator support.

PS: Buy my fog lights for the complete JDM look!

No, most important is that you have a crx. You might be able to find one on this board, or try autotrader. Without a crx you cant do the swap.

they are H4H bulbs, and you can get them in the US but they are expensive!

i like the wrap around bumper lights and sidemarkers. it also looks like the front end is a little more angled out than the usdm.

what i liked about it is the subtle things. the biggest thing is the side markers. but i like it for the slightly wider headlights, and for the hood bulge (dips UP instead of down like USDM for room for the B16) and for me at least, it's a great way to change the "look" of the car, without taking away the look of the car. I wanted a CRX for how it looks, handles and could do and i wanted to make it "mine" at the same time. and this still kept it "stock" looking (the reason i love the car so much), but yet different.

when my car was at a show the other month, NOBODY picked up on my JDM front, or any of the other JDM mods (except my JDM ITR steering wheel). I like it that way.

and yes, H4H bulbs are expensive and are needed for the headlights. headlights use 1 bulb instead of 2 for the high and low beams. i found them online for $80.

Just wanted to say I am an absolute fan of the SIR headlights. They make the front end and give the car a much more imposing look. They are much larger than the non-SIR lights. I lucked out as mine came with PIAA bulbs, very good.

I just wanted to say if you're thinking about this conversion. I look at mine and smile everytime I see it, even though it's not painted yet.

yup.. well she doesnt actually DRIVE it yet.... its in progress right now. but the white Si is still under repair (as you can see) she's great its REALLY nice to have a girl that's into it as much as me she's got a bunch of JDM parts - pretty much all the stuff I didn't do she's doing.

She has EF7 front seats and door panels, rear seat, ZC hood, Power Mirrors (I have power folding mirrors), she has a the JDM Optional Momo steering wheel and some other stuff i can't remember. Here's a link to some of her pics if you want to check it out http://homepage.mac.com/rexerin/PhotoAlbum1.html

I agree with you CRX7 about the SiR headlights, they really do make a difference to the look of the car.
