Like the topic says, does it have a metal base it secures to, or does it just screw into the side of the stock floor console?

If anybody has any pics, I'd greatly appreciate it!

 

it screws to the floor console. it uses metal tabs for the threads to bite into something, but it just screws to the floor piece.

 

i used little black nuts and bolts, never came loose yet.

 

Wow, doesn't seem very sturdy at all.

The 92+ consoles had metal floor stands to give it something strong to bite into.

 

theres a meatl bracket that the floor console fits around which secures the back of the floor console. the armrest fits right over that area of the floor console and then uses 4 screws to attach to the floor console.

its kinda wobbly, but its not that bad really.
