04 Accord Windows Roll Downs by itself?
I am a new 04 Accord EX owner. My friend has the same car but his windows rolls down because of the cabin temp is hot? I am not talking about the key/door window trick. Now, I haven't seen the windows roll down by itself but we went to the mall and when we got back, his Accord's window was rolled down by atleast an inch. I looked in the manual and the website and can't find any. Is this a defect? Please advise.
I would have to say thats not normal. You or he may want ot call you local dealer and tell them what is happening. They may have seen this type of problem before.

Here's what Honda says in the march 04 service news:
Power Windows Open by
Themselves When Parked
While we’re on the subject of power windows,
have you gotten complaints from ’03–04 Accord
LX or EX owners saying they closed the windows
when they parked the vehicle but found all the
windows open or partially open when they
returned? Ruling out poltergeists or gremlins, the
reason could just be they did it themselves with
the keyless remote. Borrowing from page 100 of
the O/M, here’s how you open the windows with
the keyless remote:
1. Press the UNLOCK button once to unlock the
driver’s door.
2. Press the UNLOCK button again, and hold it
down. The passenger’s doors unlock and all
four windows start to open. To stop the
windows, release the button.
3. To open the windows further, press the
UNLOCK button again.
You can’t close the windows with the keyless
remote. If your customer doesn’t think that he or
she opened the windows by mistake, then ask
him or her to carry the valet key for a while. If the
problem happens again with the valet key, refer to
section 22 of the 2003–04 Accord S/M, and follow
the troubleshooting procedures.

I have had that same complaint at least 15 times in my dealer, you have to be using your key remote wrong by hitting the buttons too many times.
ya your friend probably hit the unlock button. if you want it to roll down. just press unlock 2 times then the 3rd time hold it. and let go when you want it to stop.
