d16 into 95 integra
I have 95 civic si. Its pretty much a fully built turbo motor. forged rods and pistons teflon coated bearings.550 cc injectors walboro fuel pump ect ect. Its putting down 210 horsepower to the wheels. And last week a tree limb fell on the car and tottaled it. But i have this 95 integra gsr shell there is no motor or tranny or wireing harness or anything. So i was wondering if my d16 would bolt right into the integra? If so do i ahve to get integra motor mounts? or use the civic mounts? Axels i should use? I know its down to do this but i have alot of money and time in this motor already and cant aford a b18c or anything like that.
Since it isn't a b-seris I am pretty sure your gonna need a differant mount kit i don't think any of the stock mounts will work. If I am wrong at least you got a free bump
I know there was a guy in the ITR forum that put a D15 (i think) into his ITR. I would assume you use Integra mounts and the Civic axles, but I am not 100% sure.
you use the mounts from the civic motor going into the integra. same with axles and shift linkages. i would think this because its the same way when putting an integra motor into a civic. whatever came with the motor/tranny stays with it...
