how to ID ctr cams, if they are the real deal or not.
Hey guys. When I bought my B16 swap, the guy threw in a set of what he called ctr cams. I have "NO" clue as to how to tell if they are in fact CTR cams, and the pics I have taken are not the best quality, but maybe someone can look at them and tell me what to look for, etc or if I just have a set of stock b16 cams. they are messed up slightly at 2 spots, you can see in one pic where the guy said it was installed with the cam caps backwards and ran for like 60sec's like that but said a good machine shop could fix. Any help guys?
Pic 1 shows the ends

Pic 2 show the other end.

Pic 3 shows the messed up part and the only ID # I saw on this cam.

The other cam has an "H" on it where the above pic showed the number "4".

I'd like to know to. I supposedly have CTR cams as well. The previous owner gave me the stock B16 cams so I didn't really question it. The car revs like crazy and makes good power in the upper RPM. Since your cams are out how about having them degreed and measure the lift. The CTR intake cam is 243 degrees and around 11.0 mm lift if I remember correctly.
yo from the looks of those cams i wouldnt put them anywhere near my car id rather buy new ones then deal with a machine shope doing something wrong and ******* up my motor. But the CTR cam is a more aggressive cam you can find thewm on Ebat brand new for like $450
