89 hatch swap question

i have a 89 civic hatch and wanting to swap a 92-95 civic SOHC VTEC engine/tranny into it...what all extra would i need? motor mounts, engine wiring harness? any info would be helpful

got that in my 89 hatch dx, well it depends what model you have, if you have an

89 si.
bolts right in
some sort of vtec controller if you stay obd0, if u convert to 0bd1 u jus need the 92-95 ecu and 1 wire for vtec i believe

89 dx
need to convert to MPFI

and that is using your stock tranny cuz 92-95 trannys are hydro unless you buy a conversio
n kit.
