Default car is shaking

Hi everyone, having some issues with my car.

it is a 2000 honda accord, dropped on tein coil overs. been dropped for about two years now, and just started having this problem.

i recently got new tires and also installed new brake pads. my rotors may be warped because when i stop my car shakes. the problem is when i accelerate my car shakes starting around 35 mph. it also pulls to the right. I recently took it to get an alignment, and they said my alignment was fine.

could it be that my warped rotors are causing my car to pull and shake?

thanks,

did you check the caliper? mine was seized and sort of pulled to the side it was on...but it wasn't anything significant...just a thought....

Bent axle ? Check to make sure your axles aren't bent. Also check your tires to see if any of them are seperated.

It wouldn't be related to alignment. Neither balancing because you are feeling it at such low speeds.

He said it happens all the time, even when he's "not" on the brakes. So it won't be brake related.

Dang my 97 accord shakes mad when i break going like 40 miles an hour or faster. Anyone know the reason why? I changed my rotors like in January and it shook less and now its back to same before i changed my rotors.

u said u got new tires right? it could be that your tires were balanced incorrectly. i hear some people are too lazy to do highspeed balancing so they do it only at low speeds.

Well, my Honda had this same prob, it wouldn't shake while accelerating or cruising, but the moment i decelrated, the steering would start wobbling.

Turned out to be a prob with tie-rods. They was some play in them which caused the wheels to get unsettled.

Get that checked first.

My roommates TL-S shook the same from rotor warp, he changed them and it was fine. Hopefully it's only rotors.

Bullshit, I used to work at a tire shop and bad balance can greatly affect vibration and pull to the side...even at 5 mph if its REALLY bad or rim is bent.

You guys running aftermarket rims are especially prone to bad balance. Most aftermarket rims you can't place weights on the outside. MOST tire shops are too lazy to place sticky weights on both the inside and outside of the rim so you get a static balance which only takes out the up and down motion, not side to side. Sticky weights are also VERY prone to falling off which will also throw it off. Also when you lower a car it often messes with the camber, this can create uneven wear on the tire that will give you a vibration. Don't believe everything you hear!
