Default D16Z6 threw a rod - Suzuki Pistons on rebuild?

Just threw a rod in a D16Z6 turbo del sol.. block seems to be ok on first inspection... taking suggestions on engine rebuild. I heard stuff about suzuki pistons working well? And I read a while back about some supra pistons.. looking to be somewhat on a budget but still hopefully make good power (~300whp)..

TIA!

I am going to use the Suzuki vitara pistons along with eagle rods in my d-series motor.. Search for posts by FJT and youll find info on the Vitara pistons..

sorry to hear that... i hope the block is still good. If you find the block is bad then I have a 1995 D15B7 Longblock for sale for dirt cheap.....

Thanks for the offer on the motor.. but we also have a D15B sitting around.. No offense but those motors stink!

I was looking into those vitara pistons for a while, but I finally decided doing it right the first time and going forged would be the best option for me.

get SRP's at least, or something

do it right the first time

if u threw a rod, the block if screwed
i would start with one without a trown rod... because i know u either slapped the **** out of ur cylinders, the crank bridge, or the block walls.........
