Default //////// best ECU and compression rating for Buddy Club spec 3's? \\\\\\\\\

can anyone provide me some info on this? cams are going in my 00 B18C5, what compression would be best? should i run a 2 layer headgasket? i will be retaining the stock valves.

also what ecu set ups are you guys running? i had a skunk2 with my skunk stage 2s but does anyone have experience with one running buddy club 3's? i just want an ecu, so dont say hondata, electromotive, aem or whatever.

thanks in advance!

for refference here is what i have so far:

2000 USDM B18C5
Buddy Club spec 3 cams
Buddy Club cam gears
Buddy Club valve springs
Buddy Club ti retainers
Walbro 255lph fuel pump
Fidanza flywheel
Exedy clutch

also i will be running a Compech ice box, JDM 4-1 header and an Apex ws exhaust. this is my daily driver so i wanted to keep it pretty quiet

thrashin, PM Katman. He is running an almost identical setup to yours. Maybe he could get you an ecu program.

Ok first off, what year is your car and what current ecu are you using?

If you're running an OBD1 ecu, I can sell you my reprogramming services and use the same custom program I used with my BC spec3 cam setup. I had a similar engine setup as you.

Lemme know...

btw...
Ultimatley, running a fully reprogrameable ecu & real time tuning on the dyno is the way to go (hondata, AEM EMS, etc).
