Headlight bulb question..
You could go with an HID kit, but they can cause glare on stock headlights, so don't drive behind a cop lol.
Sylvania SilverStars are pretty good bulbs that won't burn out on ya. I had them for over a year and still works and looks like it did when I bought it. They arn't HID's, but they do look much better than regular halogens. (no bulb can replicate the real HID bulbs) Stay away from bulbs that rely on a painted bulb, they usually fade out within a few weeks and you're back to a regular yellowish halogen bulb.

http://www.coolbulbs.com all the bulbs from Nokya, Polarg, and Raybrig are top notch and wont burn out every 2 weeks...I use Polarg personally and bought them from this site.....The Sylvania Silverstars are whiter bulbs then stock and are an improvement. But if you want the " HID blue/purple " look without sacrifcing light output check these out. I put my Polargs next to the silverstars, they make the silverstars look like stock!!!!!
Be carful putting the 80W bulbs in there because they will melt your wiring and possibly your housings. I have a friend that has the Eurolite Xenon Crystal bulbs I think they say HXC if you look for them at car domain and they are really blue and have the color like HID's but if you get them get the LXC as many people have said the HXC's will melt your wiring and housings. Honestly if you get the blue bulbs your are sacrifing a lot of light output and the blue reflects back at you in the rain and you can't see anything. If you get any I would get the super white ones. I don't like the stock ones at all but am not willing to drop $350+ on HID's so I have tried 2 different bulbs. I tried the Eurolite Super Plasma Xenon bulbs and loved them you could see a lot more than the stock ones and they were really white maybe a little blueish purpleish but not much and have been using them in the highbeams for over a year now with no problems(knock on wood) and love them. I did have them in the low beams also but they burnt out in less than 2 months. Well I thought maybe I just got a bad set and they had a year warrenty so I sent them back and the second set burnt out in about the same time period. I put the stock ones back in for about 6 months to a year then decided to try some Farenheit Super White bulbs for my low beams and they look great. Not yellow like the stock ones more white but not really blue but they are a lot better than the stock ones still yet arn't the blue ones that you can't see with. I don't know how long these will last as I have only had them about 2 or 3 weeks.

cuzo lights.....or piaa......or Nokya are all good lights
They last long not to mention that all of these lights draw 55w from your headlights like stock bulbs....the thing that you will notice with most aftermarket lights is that they may put out like 80w but they also draw 80w.....which burns them out quick....look for lights that draw 55w.......but output 80w...you'll save a lot of money that way.trust me.

How much did you guys pay for your silverstars? They were alot more pricey than I thought. I got a pair for about $38. Were all of yours around that area?
Thats about what I have seen them for. I went for the Eurolite Super Plasma ones and when my low beams kept burning out switched back to stock then to Farenheit bulbs and both are better than stock and arnt blue ricer looking bulbs. I think the Eurolites which I still have as my high beams sell for around $30 to $40 $40 to $50 when I got them and the Farenheit ones about $20 to $30. Cardomain has them cheaper but those are the places most car shops sell them for.
Does anyone know how to install headlight bulbs for my car? Well I know where it goes, but I'm kind of scared to put it in myself. I know that you're not supposed to touch the actual bulb with your hand. Are latex gloves ok to use just in case of accidental touches?
dunno how to install them on your specific year, but latex gloves would be fine. when i installed my bulbs into my 95 i just used a fresh shop rag
you just dont want any type of oil residue on them as it will burn

I'm going to be honest hear I just use my hands and make sure I don't touch the bulb I just hold it by the plastic if you are very careful and don't touch the bulb part you should be ok. I tried gloves once and found it harder to put them in as the gloves got caught on stuff but they are probably a good idea.
OK, i figured it out... but i wasn't able to do it... the new accord low beam bulbs have to be accessed through the inner fender wall, not from the hood. i think i'm just going to go to the dealership
