I'm am going to go look at a 95 VTEC prelude and was wondering if there are any common problems or things i should look for. I have a del sol and know that there are common problems among these. Just wanted to know if the same goes for Preludes.

 

Check to make sure that the climate control buttons work. If they don't change direction from, let's say from face to feet, or to defrost, there is a fix for this problem. VERY common among 4th gen Ludes.

Check to make sure the AC works. Seems as if the 4th Gens had weak AC systems.

Check the rear fender wells for rust. VERY common where the metal meets the plastic bumper.

The only issues I have had with my 4th Gen were the climate control I listed above, the AC compressor was bad, and a 4WS issue. ALL have been fixed by myself.

That's all that I can think of. There really weren't too many issues with these cars.
