i also wanted to know where i can buy a JDM d15 ....cuz my dad just told me he dont want me to get the 16....so i figured i would get the 130 hp jdm d15, i seen one on ebay for like $400 or bid on it...seemed nice i just wanted more info.

lol, today has been a good day, a guy came and bought my 89 turbocharged probe GT so now i have enough money to get a jdm d16 off of ebay (long block)
still lookin though. I also figured out some future plans

color scheme: Gun Metal grey and black, im going to order the black euro taillights
the black background halo projectors with the jdm black corner lights

rims: advanti Stilletos 17X7 or OZ superleggera 18x7

try to slide with some %15 tint all around

CAI or just AI not sure yet

im gunna take that black strip off of the car because it is ugly

the car sits pretty low to the ground now but coilovers have been thought of.

a decent body kit, that doesnt make the car look like poo, thought about the wings west body kit.

im a big fan of fosgate so i thought about hookin it up with that

i figured everything that i want done with it should take about a year to have it perfect

...tell me what you think

Rims = no no, 17/18 +lowering aint gonna happen on these cars.
Euro Tails = Nah unless you like everyone in the world telling u how ricey you car is.
Bodykit, not my style, but ppl on here seem to be fans of the WW kit.
Exactly which "JDM" motor D16 is this you're lookin at? Just cus someone says it is JDM dont mean it is. Dont get scammed.
And most importantly, SEARCH and learn more about the car and the motors and pretty much every issue that you could run into, before you carry out any of the plans u mentioned above. I guarentee you'll run into some damn good info on how to make a fast *** car for not a lot of money. You're 16, I doubt that u have a huge enough budget to start dumpin tons of money into the car. Good luck.

your right i am 16, but my budget is whatever i make it, i work at wendy's and even tho that isnt a $13 an hour job, i have absolutely nothing i have to pay on, so all my money goes toward the car, have that stuff on the list i could get in maybe 2 checks. i do understand were your comming from though. i myself think the car is low now, and it would look good without a body kit, but it was something to think about...as for the euro lights...i careless what people call me lol, these black euro lights i seen were sick and it goes perfect with the scheme as the projectors and corner lights do 2.

Take it from someone who just was in the area of 16 -- I'm 18, there is nothing called a budget without bounds. Anyhew, this is what I have learned:

Don't spend it as you go! Save up and then spend wisely.

take it from someone who was also around this age (im 20 now) .... this is the BEST advice i've seen on HT yet.

dont spend money you dont have, and HAVE a gameplan. oh, and do research.

i dont know. i've heard of these engines before, but just barely. that should tell you something. if people dont talk about them much, there must be a reason for that.

there are millions of engines out there. dont buy it. there'll be another engine JUST like that, maybe even nicer, in a few days. do a little research first. sleep on it a few days.

Actually, from what i've gathered during my time on this board, thats an awesome engine to get. Straight drop in if you use ur tranny. Plus some random wiring for the vtec. I've seen great review for ppl who have it. Read read read. And you will find your way. BTW I'm 19, so I know very well about the whole budget thing. Somethings ALWAYS gonna go wrong/ break. So just make sure to have money saved so you dont have downtime.
