Crx/Civic Coilovers... Show pics please.
I am currently using H&R Ultra Low coilovers....Whenever I go over a big hump in the road, the front coilovers seem to be bottoming out ! I hear a loud thump !!!!
So I am thinking of changing and getting GC/Koni setup, or TEIN SS instead.
how low do these coilovers go ???
Please post pics of your setup, pro's,cons and detailed description with pics.
I can still go down another 1/2 inch in the front and 1 inch lower in the rear...

You might want to check and see if the upper control arms are hitting the top of the car. All this really only means is that you should get stiffer springs so when you hit the bump, you don't get stuck in an underdamping situation. If you have adjustables, put them on the stiffest setting for now till you get a higher spring rate spring.
Personally, I think the car is too low and you're losing precious traction in the straights with all of that negative camber. If you correct the camber at that hieght though, you might see the upper A arm hit the lip where the fender matches up with the chassis.
Good luck.
Edit: ....and yes, you should cut your bumpstops. the Illumina Shocks that I have tell you to do that if you're going to lower the car so you have more travel

It is the upper control arm,i know what your saying my freind had his eg really frickin low and every time he would go over a bump,it made a really loud metal type thump. After a while, there was a hole in the metal right by his strut bar!

do you have a pic of it ? I think you are right.

I'm 99% sure it's the conrol arm. The shock is too short to bottom out or hit the bumpstop. You don't need to cut the bumpstops because they are already the correct length.
You can either raise it up a little or cut the strut towers. I know you wouldn't do that though. So just raise it like 1/2" and you'll be good. My control arms never hit BTW.
