Default Sub with factory stereo?

I have a 2000 accord, is it possible to put in subwoofers while keeping the factory stereo?

Yes you can I dont think your cd player had audio outputs my 99 does not, You need an amp that you can connect cpeaker wire into as audio inputs My pyle amp has this I have not ever used this feature its a little plug that comes with some of the newer amps. Yuor sub wont have a good signal In short it will sound like crap you are going to need an amp with a good crossover, I dont think they make seperate crossover's that you can connect speaker wire's into ( maybe im wrong) so get a good amp and you might be ok I recomend PYLE Eternal series 2 ch will work best.

Actually, you DON'T need an amp with speaker-level inputs, IF you have the RCA converters. They're relatively cheap, and convert speaker level outputs to RCA outputs, and typically have adjustable gain on them. Then you run RCAs to the amp as you would with aftermarket decks. No matter what, the signal is not going to be as good as a signal from an aftermarket deck. Part of the reason is the source is speaker outputs, and part of it is because a factory deck isn't made to produce clear sounds at that low of a frequency.

Most amps nowadays have a built-in crossover for subs. And yes, they do make separate crossovers. A lot of them, actually.

Oh, and by the way... Pyle is a pile of shiet. Crappy output, high distortion rates after moderate use.... not at all clean sound output. Not to mention made with cheap components which almost always = shorter life. There are reasons why you can buy those amps for so cheap....
