Only Honda I've seen on this board with them was Vtecvoodoo, he had them on an 92-95 hatch 4x100 though. I havent seen any other Honda with an Alcon caliper setup, I dont think its really necessary, especially on something thats isnt a full-race car that needs a better than stock caliper.

How can you say that Alcon brakes are not a performance enhancement?

They are some of the best brakes out there, so he should get Rotora or something?

What he meant was that for the money, the Alcon's do not perform as well as what the price should justify. Equal or better braking can be had for much less.

I tend to believe it's tongue-in-cheek sarcasm.

Sven's friend Jan's had the Alcon setup on his R in Germany and I used to have a link but it no longer works unfortunately.

Which Alcon setup is the original poster interested in: http://www.alcon.co.uk/

I don't remember them being able to fit behind stock wheels or at least requiring a 16" wheel and also being pretty pricey$$$. At the time I looked at them the Spoons fit better and were less $$$.
