I'm doin a 2000 USDM h22 swap into my 97 CL, and I've searched and have been told by others that I need to shave the Prelude driver's side mount to fit. Well, how? I have both mounts, I just need detailed instuctions on how to do it, and I haven't found anything, no pics, nothin. Anybody know? Thanks.

 

It is very simple. The Prelude driver side mount has the hole that to insert the bolt through and it happens to be slightly longer than the Accord/CL stock motor mount. All you have to do is use a bench grinder and grind the excess metal off until you can get the Prelude mount to fit into the CL's driver side mount location. Good luck with the swap.
