Brett</TD></TR></TABLE> 9/2003 your post is about as useless as his thread. I'm getting tired of the "search noob" You guys are starting to sound just like the noobs.

anyways, depending on your swap. You might just need to switch out the front hubs to SI spec. you didn't specify what you were gonna swap to.

You get used to the flames, it's part of the quest for answers.
I also have an Hf. It sounds like you were talking about a b-series swap. If that's true, you gotta check and replace a lot of stuff and look into every piece of your car
1.) which block you're getting. Search on this forum, everything from A6 to Zc. You'll find what you're looking for.
2.) Go over ALL the SPECS on the MOTOR that you have! All of them, doesn't matter how minute it may seem. and don't guess which block you have. Find out.
3.) Brakes, suspension, front hub assembly needs to be changed out for the SI (knuckle)Hub assembly. * if you're doing the B-series swap.* Bigger axels for that bigger tranny. And you get bigger brakes!
4.) Research it until you can name the specs on every honda/acura block/axels from late 80's up to the mid 90's. It gets boring going from d-f-b-k series blocks...you'll know'em real well.

No such thing as a stupid question. If you look hard enough you'll score the answers you need. Good luck on your hf project. It's a bitch but everyone will be crying when the only letters they see are the ones on your plates and the little HF sticker on the panel in the back.

just a tip when you do search make sure you clicked archived content... that might help you find a lot more stuff... it sucks sifting through pages of crap but usually you can find what you need. but ya if you are planning on swapping pretty much anything you need to swap out your knuckles and hubs to crx dx or si ones because hf axles are dinky... but other than that the hf is a good platform cause its light and the wiring harness is all ready to go just plug and play.

thanks for yallz information.. and yes im planning to do a b series swap on my hf. so i guess i just got to change the knuckles and hubs on my hf. maybe i just get a front clip and drop the whole front clip on my car. there is a really good site. flashoptions.com that sell pretty good prices. and thanks again for the good information and advice. it will help me alot.

so one was telling me that the hf exhaust is too small tho? what does he mean by that? i found out that the cat convertor is on the header in the front. is that what he means

The exhaust is seriously just over an inch in diameter. If you're dropping a B-series in there, you'll definitely want a larger exhaust all the way back. HF exhaust was made for a 62hp engine. Even the lowest HP rated B-series is close to double that.
