you should have asked for opinions of people who like bodykits.. a lot of people on here are ******** who either like completely stock sleeper, completely gaydm, or completely crazy looking contraptions.. i havent found a lot of gray but a whole lot of black and white..

BTW since the rear trim was removed so they could mold the skirt on i think you should get rid of the trim on the doors and fenders too.

If you don't like the kit I think you'd be screwed because it looks to me like the kit was permanently moulded to the body panels.

Paint and body kit are easily fixed, the rest of the car is what you need to concentrate on. When I'm looking for a car for myself I only buy cars that are still factory original, because then it's a lot safer bet that the car wasn't beat on in it's past and it will be a good runner that won't give you troubles down the road. Plus I get to fix it up the way I want it, not how the last guy wanted it.

If he's offering to sell it to you for $200 and you like the color / bodykit I'd say go for it. Any more than that I'm going to need a lot more info on the car.

You're asking a pretty imposible question by asking what we think based on one picture and absolutely no knowlege of interior mods / condition, engine mods / condition, and asking price.

i like bodykits.... that fit with the body lines of the car. that kit on that car is not my cup of tea. but some people wouldnt like my car either, so i say do what ya like, as long as you like it who cares

 

The kit sucks but maybe underneath might be a stright REX

 

I would find a more stock one. That one is way too done up.

 

stock it up and paint it a different color and its hot

 

looks like the moulding is shaved off on the rear quarter and moulded in the front bumper?.. someone has fucked with it too much - don't buy it or you'll regret it.

looks like the front bumper and the side skirts have been molded but the rear has not. I dont like kits like that on any ef and im sure its damn fibercrapglass i would take it for a few hundred bucks though but that sure as hell would never be my first choice in a car; regardless of whats under the hood

 

Yes, do not put any other kind of bodykit on a crx besides a ww and the only mod's that are accepted here are your garden molding lips and dryer duct ghetto jobs.

Check the area's where the front bumper is molded to the fender very closely for cracks. If this wasn't installed correctly it will crack at the seams. Find out if it was professional installed etc. Since you don't mention any mechanical conditions, I guess we're only suppose to give you opinions on the looks? Check the rocker panel area's and rear wheelwells closely for screwed up looking welds which might indicate it had been wrecked and poorly repaired.

Being that this is your first post, you may not have expected to be flamed or you are a long standing member who created a new account to come out of the closet or just to see what you could stir up. lol

 

IMO that is horrible. Kit is ugly as ****. The word "atrocity" seems to come to mind when looking at this car. You might want to try http://www.clubsi.com they might be more supportive of your ricer mentallity.

To help you out, I have those side skirts. If you like for your car to stay clean at all times, they aren't for you. Mine have to be washed everyday.
