Default Where to mount a temp gauge in a 4th gen?

My 92' prelude reciently over heated and I want to put a temp gauge in to keep an eye on everything, I don't want a pillar cluster either. I'd really like to mount it to the right of the speedo in the clear plastic, has anyone done this and had any problems with the concave clear plastic cracking? Is there anyplace else I could mount it, maybe someone can post pics of their gauge set ups.

You could always mount it in the tweeter cover on the drivers side, The tweeters face sideways under the covers, and there is a lot of room to work with.

I know this will sound ghetto.....but a small strip off double sided body tape will hold a gague nicely next to the tweeter cover by the tach, and it dosent look bad.

Nothing good ever came from a post starting that way I'm sure.

I wouldn't try to fit two in there. The supports on the back of the grill are weak and trying two squeeze two gauges there would probably make it very floppy. If you take out the grill you will see what I mean. It houses one perfectly. I used the passenger side for an A/F gauge as worthless as it is.
