Default LSD BURNOUT GONE WRONG..i'm scared.

okay so i'm talking about my car at school...and how its got an lsd..friend wants to burnout with it..so i say sure..my tires are pretty much new anyway...so we're in my neighborhood and we switch seats..get to a street and he's about to do it. he redlines it in first, drops the clutch grabs the brake..all while the e-brake was on. the tires start burning..or at least i though they did..he does it again..and shifts into second while redline..(yes i started flipping..he never let off the gas once during all this..even for shift) so it starts smokin kinda bad. i know what a burnout smells like..i did them all day long with my t-bird..this didnt smell like rubber.. i jump out and realize the smoke isnt coming from the tires. its coming from under the hood..i lift the hood and white smoke is pouring out of where my trans is. i'm like **** this isnt good..it smelt so bad and it just kept coming out. so i get in the car to move it to the side of the road..and it wouldnt shift into gear..like any gear. maybe it was my mind messin with me, but i can move my own car and it was goin into gear. so i turn it off...pray to god for a few and get in..car starts and i drive it home maybe a half mile. still smelled horrendous..drove it today and it seemed fine. inside of my car still smells bad though.. finally my question what the hell happened. i'm really nervous about this and dont have the money for a new..anything. please if someone could tell me what happened i'd greatly appreciate it.
thanks

Go get a trans fluid change for $20 at any lube place. You might have been low, and new fluid never hurt anyone.

yea, u were spinning your clutch there buddy, heres an idea, dont do a burnout unless your drag racing on slicks, otherwise there pointless, especially with an lsd, whats the point anyway, isnt that why one would have an lsd, so u dont spin?

I seem to remember a video online of someone filming themselves doing a burnout only to discover they were just smoking the clutch.

i hate tha tsmell too smells like ****!

wellyea your clutch got smoked pretty bad from the sounds of it!

just cut the life of that sucker in 1/4 so take it easy on the clutch and maybe itll last u long enough to save up for another one.

BTW everyone hating on his friend, u gotta remember his friend does not own the car, and was given permission to do this.

NOBODY drives my car and until i dont care about it anymore nobody ever will.
just too much money in some of these cars to let a careless friend **** them up. and personally when something does break i would rather blame myself then be pissed at a friend

The clutch wont grab as hard as it should. A slipping clutch is recognizable when the RPM's increase but the speed doesnt. It's like the car is revving when it's in gear.

Nice "friend" btw.

If it was smoking like you said, you don't have much life left on it, even if it was brand new. I'd guess 10K miles or less. Make him buy you a new one - seriously.

your flywheel is probably a bit glazed from heat too.. id say get the flywheel resurfaced and a clutch that can take more abuse...

or stop trying to do burnouts

Thats what happened the first time i tried a burn out in my old B16 HB. The clutch fried like all hell and smelled horrible. It glazed for a bit also but i just let it sit a while and it ended up fine. Never had any problems after that. Learned my lesson though, havent tried to burn out since.

you gave him permission to do a burnout. That implies that he knew what the **** he was doing, and not to smoke your goddamn clutch.

He owes you a new clutch.

...and tell everybody at school.
