I was wondering what everyones thoughts are on the crx. i own an 88dx and i love it, but it seems like everyone around me wants me to get rid of it. They say it gets me into trouble with the police, its a money pit, its impractical, its ugly (no paint because prepping, molding shaving body) ect. most honda owners i have talked to have had a crx at least once, and regreted getting rid of it for their eg civics or dc integras. my current setup doesnt have ac because the car never came with ac, no heater, no defrost, no sound deadning whatsoever and it seems like everything rattles basically stripped but the interior peices put back in so it doesnt look stripped. i have about $8k into the car and am the 1st owner outside of my friends family with paperwork dating back to its purchase from honda in 88 and every other workorder since. this car has sort of a sentimental value to me, being as it was the car that made me take a honda seriously, my first honda, and the first car i ever did anything to. but i would have to choose between a newer integra and basically make it look clean, or stick with the crx. what are your suggestions?

i have owned 2 crx's the one i have now has a b16 swap and i wouldnt trade it for anything im strongly advising you DONT GET RID OF IT youll be sorry if you do

 

man i go through those thoughts too often. then i find a thread on here about people going on and on about how much they love/miss their CRXs. Thats the only thing thats made me keep my CRX. I can't even remember driving it, its been over 6 months now.
