Default HPDE - October 30/31, Mid-Ohio

October Driver School Needs U! (Or, Maybe U need the October school!) Lots of openings left...

Mid-Ohio October 30-31, 2004

I'm going BMW hunting. Anyone with me?

$40 to become a BMWCCA member if you're not already. (looks like the price changed).

If you are a member, it's 13.50 prorated for the year of your membership. So if your membership expired in 6 months, you can get a 6 mo. Buckeye membership for $6.75. 1-800-878-9292 will hook you up with the dual-chapter membership.

lutesje@worldnet.att.net -- Elizabeth Lutes is the event chairperson for the Mid-Ohio school. She says "We still have plenty of room."

I've got my 3rd BMW region added to my membership and the registration check is in the mail

Convoy from Chicagoland anyone?

-Chris
(p.s. Yes I posted this in the ITR forum too)

ARGH. Why is it that most BMW schools in the region will not allow convertibles with proper rollover protection? I have a 4pt rollbar, seats, harnesses and arm restraints so this makes no sense to me.

Maybe if you sign up to be an instructor.

Instructor on trolling for hotties in Mansfield? Surely you don't mean instructor on track - nobody wins there. I'm getting better but I'm far from being that good.

Recently I have gone out with my buddy in his 1999 911 for a couple sessions to give him some pointers. He actually got faster so it was a very satisfying feeling. So I can see where the appeal is to instructing but that was just very basic stuff.

911? Man those things are slow. It's like a turbo honda, except driving backwards.
