Arizona Region-Who is going to be racing in HC this year? HPDE too.........????
Hi guys,
I'm looking to put together a HC mailing list for the Arizona Region Honda track guys/gals? I know a lot of you but please send me your email address, car type, driver status, goals - want to race???, ect....
I'm also putting together a swap meet for some of the drivers to get rid of their garage clutter that might be something of use for others. If it might be something your interested in attending or selling some stuff let me know via email.

I missed the first event due to parts being late in the mail. We're all set to go for October and I plan to complete the season through May. Feel free to ad me to the mailing list and I'm certainly down for a swap meet!

Yeah, I know I'm not in AZ, but I plan on coming out for as many races as I can, cuz you guys are fun, and I have a free place to stay there. Currently finishing the car and working on getting my SCCA license so I can run in both associations. Probably won't make it to the swap meet, but it's a great idea.

It's going to be a while, but I'll go ahead and say I'd like to be on the list.

Paul, you and I have talked, and for me at this point it's all about money. I have a quite a bit on my plate at the moment. So we'll see what happens in the next year or two. But I figure being involved with you guys before I get to that point will make for some fun racing in the future.

You think that's easier than installing a stock D16? Heh

The other thing for me Travis, is that i've never done a motor build, I want to try and do it for myself, just to say I can do it, to have faith in what I know about Honda motors. In all reality, if I blow up a B-series, I'll more than likely go back to a nice built D.

So far we've got:
H1:
Paul
Justin (sometime soon hopefully)
H2:
Mark (I assume)
H3:
Erik
H4:
Travis
Danny
Darren (when he can)
H5:
Nobody that I know of yet
Over all, that's pretty poor. Hell, Mark and Erik are running every month by themselves! I know both of them have looked into H1 just to have a bigger run group. Danny and I pretty much race against each other every month and neither one of us wants to be the H4 champion of a group of two. Come on guys, we need to get the word out. Who else?

We should have two more H4 cars racing now. They were getting their competition licenses last event.
Does anyone have ideas on exposure or what we can do to make the series more enticing for people to get involved. Lets throw some ideas around and I will see what I can implement to bring more people in.

Brett garon....00 EBP Si(formerly the silver EP minivan that you guys have seen out there) and ill be in HPDE3 with 20 piece..No email addy.........honestly,id do a race group if it didnt cost a grip of $$$$$,,,since as many of you might know i sold the EP3 and bought a 00 Si....I want to race, but damn, its gotta cost a fair amount to even get into HC,and with a mostly stock Si,i feel it would be a waste of time for me,and the car wouldnt be competitive......I think thats why the race groups are so weak...a lot of people might see guys like paul and danny out there, and realize that there is no chance of running close to these guys, and decide its not worth the time...or atleast thats where i am right now........

99-00 Si is in H3. An SSC car with valid logbook is in H5. SSB is H4. Eligible for 3 weekends.
All is in ye olde rulebook.
