Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Malfunction
1997 Honda Accord SE w/ 127,000 miles
Bone Stock, I'm not a racer but I figured there would be a wealth of knowledge here!
Anyways my check engine light came on last week. So I hooked up the scanner and it came up with P0740- Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Malfunction.
Any ideas?
I recently had done a tune up, new plugs, PCV valve, new air filter, nothing out of a "normal" tune up.
By the way, I already tried a search.
Thanks,
John

P0740 is usually caused by a bad torque converter o-ring, or an internal tranny problem.
If you don't notice any drivability problems, I would live with it.
