Yes I know, not a very good topic title but I couldnt think of any way else to say it. Anyways...I am running a b18c5 with a s80 lsd tranny in a Integra...At high rpm's going from 1st into 2nd, it grinds a bit. I have been told that it could be my syncros that need to be adjusted but I am not really sure. It dosent do this if I am granny driving and going from 1st to 2nd at 3000rpm's or so, only around 8000 rpms and shifting. Also, when I shift gears (granny driving), usually 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd, its like the tranny is catching real hard and makes the dash pop. Hard to explain but I hope you understand what I mean. If anyone could give me any suggestions on these problems or has had this experience in the past and knows what to do about it, please let me know! Thanks alot!

 

I'm guessing that your synchro's are fucked. Your best bet would be to take the tranny to All-Trans in Greenville and have them check it out. They do good work and won't gouge you on prices.
