b20 turbo in a crx....
i did a search, but not many things in specific that i was lookin for i found...
i got a couple questions about the b20b swap and turbo parts....
to begin with...
do any of you know any sites for a b20 swap to a crx???
here are the parts needed i think...
- b20b engine/ Ls tranny / Ls manifold
- hasport b series mounts
- maintenance items (belts, pumps, plugs, etc)
- wiring (same as a Ls swap wiring???)
- 90-93 teg axles if im using a ls tranny?
- what shift linkage?
- what throttle cable?
- anyhting else forr the swap?
for the turbo:
just one question:
does the revhard b series fit the b20b in a crx in pipin modifiacations?
does the drag gen III???

I think i can answer most of your questions.
If your CRX is an si, then you can use your stock engine wiring harness. Its a tight fit, but will work perfect. Use a 90-93 LS throttle cable (as well as 90-93 clutch cable). Use 90-93 teg axles and intermediate shaft and tranny. For shift linkage: either use 90-93 teg and shorten it about 2", or buy adjustible shift linkage from HCP. I also recommend the 4-mount HCP kit instead of the Hasport. Hasport is good, but you will definatly need the fourth mount if your going turbo. You can buy the kit including linkage from Blown90Hatch on this board for a little over $400. The HCP kit will also place the motor pretty far back so you will have room for the turbo. Also, your gonna need a 90-91 LS PR4 ecu. Thats the easiest way to go, it will plug right into your stock harness.
Also, what year intake manifold are you getting? If you have any other questions let me know.

My friend has a Turbo B20 in a CRX and before he used the turbo kit, on the street he would run consistent low 14's stock on bad tires, and for the turbo kit he used the Greddy kit and then he took it to the track and was mad as hell, cause he couldn't hook up at all too much wheel spin. As for times for the tubo kit on the B20 in the CRX he said mid to high 13's w/major wheel spin, but if your going to tubo that motor in a CRX you might want to invest in some slicks.
