Default HELP fuel rail, fpr, and fuel pressure gauge install

I just installed an STR fuel rail and a B&M regulater. Everything went smoothly but the gauge isn't reading anything. I installed the gauge onto the fuel rail but its not putting out any readings. Any suggestions?

I just tried installing the gauge directly on the fuel filter and it started to work, but the gauge is reading 70 psi and when I give it gas it starts moving down toward 60 psi. Has anyone had this same problem???

sounds like something is seriously wrong with the regulator or gauge. The pressure should raise as you open throttle body and less vacuum is present.

Try using a different gauge to see if it becomes normal...hopefully it's just the gauge?

I have heard of people having trouble
with the B&M fuel pressure gauge due to it
being somewhat fragile...
[I myself have one and have not had any problems..]

From what I understand,
Most likely the damage was from not using a 7/16"wrench on the brass
portion underneath the gauge and instead tightening it using the gauge housing..

If you bleed the pressure off and the gauge does not go to ZERO..
most likely then it is defective..

so do you prefer autometer over B&M when it comes to gauges?
