Crower Stage 3's streetable?
I'm have a friend who just recently bent his 6 exhaust valves on his h23/vtec and he's looking to do a complete upgrade on the head with cams, gears, and the whole valvetrain.
He insists on getting Crower Stage 3 cams, and I was wondering if they would even be reasonable for his set-up, or even streetable for that matter?
h23 bottom end
Type S pistons
h22 head
short ram intake
Prospeed header
Apex'i N1 catback
h22 tranny with quaiffe lsd
The car will soon be outfitted with stage 3's, complete valvetrain, and port work. Let me know if this is overkill.

streetable for b16/b18 and d series sohc, so i imagine the stage 3 would be rather streetable for h22 as it seems to be a trend with Crower R&D to make their stage 3 liveable, however, not w/o the fuel economy going into the toilet...
the cool thing about vtec is you have two profiles, obviously, so you can be barely streetable on the low lobes and still have a WILD profile to come when vtec hits.

anything is streetable! depends on what you can take (and most of the time what is legal) if you are willing to sacrifice comfort and driveability then yeah (not specific to your cam question) you could fill your tank with race fuel and drive a 240+ hp all motor car on the street daily, weekly, monthly.. as long as you can afford it and not complain then thats that.. it would be "streetable" to you.
