Default 98 GSR vs 98 LS

WOndering how fast do GSR's and LS's Run on a quarter mile?

Can a LS with intake, headers, exaust beat a GSR? How fast would that run?

How fast do gsrs usually run with intake, headers and exaust?

Thxs, I tried to search but couldnt find a staright answer!

well a integra stock can run low 15's with a average to good driver. The ls low 16's to very high 15's. With I/H/E wont change that much maybe. Either way a integra gsr can still take you figuring the guy knows how to drive it then u still wont win.

Nah, with just the basic bolt ons like exhaust with headers, intake ect... the LS still doesnt have a chance runing against that GSR, when I had my LS ways back I ran against GSR's and 1st 2nd I would either be side by side or ahead but once we go into 3rd gear its OVER, the LS feels like it dies down compared to hearing the GSR's Vtec kicking in right next to you and pulling away. Put cames in the LS and yeah but a ECU upgrade still wouldnt help, you would have to do a little more.

I think it has less to do with the cams and more to do with the gear ratios. The LS and GSR have the same ratios up til 3rd. Just goes to show what gearing can do for you. I think an LS with I/H/E and an ITR transmission is good competition for a gsr

edit: different FD. But still the 3rd gear in the LS is even worse off compared to the gsr

4.4 * 1.36 =gsr
4.2 * 1.269 = ls

I've seen gsr's with just intake with 15.2 time slips. LS with I/H/E should keep up with a stock GS-R.

i beat a stock 98 gsr with my 94 ls that has no ac, power steering, intake, exhaust, and a gasket match port job. I just beat hhim by a fender and hes a decent driver but yeah it really does depend on driver

Both LS & GSR are good cars and good motors. BOTH have potential for great power gains.

But the real battle is beating 8cylinder cars such as mustang 5.0, camera, etc. AND the new Accord V6 6speed...
gotta love 4cylinder power.
