Looks like they molded eyebrows to the hood of the car. I saw a post on it a couple weeks ago.

in the VW world it's called a Boser hood, basicly a hood extension welded onto the stock hood... they should stay on VWs, i'm not really diggin that rex

I give my opinion, it looks good with the color, and it is the "poor-mans" conversion which I am always for.

I think it looks ok in the pic, but you wonder what a metal extension welded on the stock hood is going to look like up close. Most likely ***.

heh, I like it. I think the lines flow very well on a crx. Although, I have never seen one up close inperson to see how weird it looks from the side.. IMO it looks a billion times better then just some plastic thing you clip on the headlights to get that aggressive look.
IIRC its called the maddog look or something to that nature.

Yeah I just now looked at the rest of the car. The hood was such a turnoff I never paid attention. The flares are nice, and subtle.

Genuine Mugen has wrap around bumper lights..
Mugen copy and WW dont look like that..
It looks like an older style erubuni or Xenon..

</TD></TR></TABLE>

Actually, there are 2 different Mugen, the WW copy is a copy of the non SiR mugen bumper. The SiR Mugen bumper has the wrap around bumper lights. For an example click on my sig.

YellowDragon: The kit is a Polybauer WideBody kit.

highhopes: I've seen the car up close, it's been done properly 'n looks clean.

NickBW: Close. The hood extension is called Bad Boy. All the rage in europe.

Are you nuts? Cheap?
Welding, grinding, smoothing, painting and mirrormatching it to the other side...it's more ******* work then shaving the emblems and antenna.

I don't like it...but for not knowing what the **** you are talking about.
