Default Does I need Si control arms to use ST swaybar?

I have a 91 civic standard that did not come with a stock rear swaybar. Therefore, my rear control arms do not have a threaded hole for the stock rear swaybar that was put on the dx and si.

Can I bolt the ST rear swaybar up using my stock rear control arms?

That would be a negative. You would need rear control arms with the bolt holes in them. I got mine off of a 90 CRX. The stock STD ones will not work.

actually, home skillet is completely wrong. the ST sway bar does not use the stock mounting location. instead, you have to hack off the nut that's welded to the bottom of your shock, then you bolt the sway bar to the same location. the kit comes with good instructions. i'm rocking 90 sedan LCAs on my Si... weight savings, yo!

Yup me too, I've had three cars with this bar now. Best suspension mod for a EF IMO. I have an 88 now and I didn't used the ST mount I just bolted to the hole in the 88 LCA, works great. If you didn't know, which I'm sure you did know, but I'll say it anyway the 88's are the same as ITRs and JDM EFs. Whereas the 89-91 are like all the newer civics, and non-ITR integras.
