Hard to say..
Because Si,Dx, and HF all say L3..
There was an article somewhere on a method to tell,
but it was fairly involved..Transmission had to be removed etc...

Arrgh. my bitch is that a starter bolt on the DX motor in the car is missing. so I go to Honda and they give me the wrong bolt ..too short....so I try looking up the HF tranny to find out that the bolt is dramatically longer. I just had not planned to pull the motor yet and wanted a way around it. ..Anyway, the HF bolt will be here today so I will see..Thanks.

P.S. On an all stock 1988 DX model:
The top bolt is a 10mm X1.25mm x45mm total length {including the head.}
The bottom bolt is a 10mm x1.25mm X 110mm total length..
What the problem might be is the old bolt is broken off and
part of it is still inside where you can not see it..
