Default hondata

ok i recieved my hondata gasket the other day.. and i lined it up on the skunk2 im and there is a large port difference the hondata is huge.. but at the same time it needs some shaving on the sides to get it be open enough too.. its the right gasket ..

it overlaps the i/m at the top where the injectors come in too.. ill try to get some pics for people to look at tonight.. has anyone ever port matched them before?
i wouldnt be tooo worred normally but the gasket is thick and will create a decent sized hole along the path when its bolted on...

Whats bigger the hole on the gasket or IM? If its the gasket then it should be fine, if it is the IM then the gasket will probally restrict the air flow... You would just need a razor blade or something and cut the gasket open a lil more...

ok so anywhere the gasket interferes with airflow i shall trim.. now im going for an NA setup.. will eventually put p29's in..
would it be worth my time to match the head and the manifold to the gasket?

the gasket looks like its almost 1/4 inch thick.. that gap between the manifold and the head isnt going to fudge things up?

That's the whole point of the Hondata gasket, to seperate the head and intake manifold to keep the intake manifold from heating up. No it won't mess it up

You're saying duh?
You pretty much answered your own question, clear the path so you don't interrupt the flow.
