Ive been looking for some amber sidemarkers for a while. Any shop you go to, they look through they're little catalog notebook and end up shrugging their shoulders.

NOW. I can get some real jdm integra ones for $40 from a guy on this board.

or

I can get these for $25. http://www.prodigyworks.com/product....ry=JDM%20Parts They say JDM, but i dont think so. Still..they're amber, and have the water seals and everything.

OR..

I can get some cheap clear ones for $10 here http://www.procarparts.com/store/dis...-CITY96-SM-COV - and get some Krylon transparent amber paint, and paint them amber. Has anyone does this before? Will the paint fade over time?

Im leaning towards option2 -the $25 "close to jdm" amber ones

any thoughts/tips/tricks/help/info?

seriously though, anyone know if the transparent paint will look aight? or like ****.

hmm... $25 aint too bad for those, and buying the cheap clear ones with the paint would come out to ~$25 anyway

also, on the topic of transparent paint.. Im wanting to paint the rear tail light amber part red. Anyone know of a good brand, or one to stay away from? I figure a coat of clear coat over the transparent paint will help? anyone done this before?
