Ok a freind of mine has a f22 motor for his newly aquired accord coupe. The car came with a f20a bottom end h23 tranny with a h23 head. is that setup even possible cause the motor doesnt run. Also he has a fresh f22 motor what we need to no is will the f20a flywheel and h23 tranny bolt up to the f22 motor?

h23 tranny, yes. i think that the flywheel will too, but i would need someone else here to confirm it.

 

thats what i was thinking the tranny we are sure will fit but the flywheel is a blury picture

 

sounds liek you got an f20a dohc engine to me. as far as i know the f20a dohc head is the same as teh h23a1 head.

 

well will the flywheel from the f20a work on a f22 single cam is what i need to no

 

most likely yes since an f20a is only an f22 with shorter stroke.
