Default Question about radiator fan

Recently had radiator replaced by dealer on 94 Prelude SI due to crack . After new one on, at first I thought I noticed radiator fan coming on more than usual, but could just be oversensitive, plus end of summer season here in Dallas. Also, I noticed there are two fans attached to the radiator. The only one I've ever noticed coming on is the one near battery side(the one on the left as you are looking at engine from the front of car). I've never observed the fan on the other
side coming on, with or without A/C and regardless of engine temp. What is
this other fan for and when should it come on?

The other fan is part of the A/C system and has no affect on the normal cooling of your car (you could remove it and still be fine).

And try waiting more than 4 minutes for a response...

Thank you, but if it is part of the A/C system, what is its function in the A/C system? As mentioned, I have not observed it coming on when the A/C is on.
I appreciate your help. Thanks again.

Do you, theoratically get more air flow into the engine by removing the A/C fan if you never use the A/C?

the second fan should definitely come on when you put the A/C on (pulls air over the condensor I believe), however, it also comes on when the engine gets too warm, at least mine both come on together.
