the door has the same size muffler - but the axle back section (piping) is longer - not sure by how much though - IM me if you need me measure the piping

I have coupe catback exhaust on my sedan.

 

my friend is sellin' his rs*r catback from his 2-door....i was gonna put it on my 4-door...

so did you just take it to the shop and have them extend the piping by 2 inches...or did you have them redo all the piping?

 

I bought a two door exhaust for my 4 door. Just took it to a shop and they cut and re-welded. Not a big deal, and not expensive.

 

so the axle back section is 2" longer as well as the B pipe? How much longer is the B pipe then?

 

If you get the muffler section only its interchangable with all integras.

 

I just noticed that Comptech sells 2 different axle back exhaust for the 2 door and 4 door tegs, why then?

 

I have a 5zigen Axle-back for coupes on my sedan...it is too short by about 2 inches. I'm too lazy to take it somewhere to get it welded. It's really not a big enough difference to make me care.

 

I believe because the tip on the sedan version extends a bit further out from the car, to clear the sedans bumper.
