lsvtec questions
I need some help with my lsvtec build. I am getting alot of advice from alot of people who have experience building them but they all have thier opnion of what I should do.
I already have these parts.....
97 ls block
00 b16 p&p head,98 gsr head... thinking of the b16 one to put in
golden eagle full vtec conversion kit
ctr pistons
ctr cams
bored 65mm b16 tb
obd2 dizzy
vtec water pump
99 gsr ecu
gsr intake manifold
That is what I got now. I know I need an im,header, exhaust.
What I want to do is to have a full lsvtec.
What else do I need to have a complete lsvtec.
What should I do to the block before I put on the head?
If you have any suggestions on what brand of parts I should go with is welcome. Any suggestions are welcome.
I need all the help I can get....shops..websites for parts...I live in ny so If you got any suggestions tell me

Get ARP rod/head studs, and upgrade your valvetrain to a crower or equivalent... for reliability issues. Balance the bottom end if you have everything apart. Invest in a good tuning platform too, like a Hondata or something.

Keep the LS Bottom, get it blueprinted/balanced, use ARP rod bolts.

well the thing is that 110- 115 is hard to come by over here . The fuel is like 6.50 a gallon. I was wondering what would keep my compression down . I want something where i dont have use 110-115. 93 is fine with me if possible

OEM Honda 3 layers work fine.

go with a high compression, then kick back ur ignition timing to run 93 octane... then when that lil turbo civic down the street gives u **** for being slow, find some 110 and advance the ignition timing.
<- planning on 13:1 compression, daily driver, 93 octane, full hondata.
