Anyone ever install these springs on their Civic? I am wondering how they ride...since they must be pretty stiff to lower 1/4 mile times. Also did anyone run into any problems installing them.

i have them in my 94 hatch. they are stiff as hell but thats the point. stock shocks too. I used the sleeves from some cheap coilovers. no problems while installing. ive never taken it to the track either but they say to improve .2-.3 sec. off the 1/4 mile.

 

Yeah I was figuring that they would be pretty stiff.....is it still street driveable? I usually drive my civic 2-3 days a week. Do you know if adding adjustable gas shocks would help or if the stock shocks are good enough...my stock shocks have 28,000 miles on them...so they are in pretty good shape.

naw but really HondaFool, the springs are gonna be stronger than hell and one bumpy *** ride. youd have to be crazy to buy these for daily driving, unless your s/n is 2fast4u831

I was kinda afraid of that....they look cool as hell but I don't want to give up the street ability of the car.....thanks for the heads up....I always get good advice on this forum....

Anyone have any recommendations for stiff lowering springs that keep the car streetable...maybe something similar to the ride of an s2000? My shocks are stock...but I have 17" enkei's.

Do you think the Eibach Drag Launch springs are stiffer than the Skunk2s on your 94 hatchback?

1000lb springs are crazy for daily driving. im proabably gonna be going around 400-450lb springs and alot of people are saying that its gonna annoy me too much (from teeth crunching).

especially if youre rollin on 17s with 40series tires, youre not gonna want to drive your car ever if you go over 400lb springs.

maybe call up ground control and ask them for advice cuz i hear they work with people well with spring setup rates and stuff. whether youre gonna order from em or not is up to you, but fyi, they are eibach springs used in their coilovers.

 

They are the drag-launch springs they sell. You get used to the ride after a week or two.
