have itr cams on stock gsr valvetrain. upgrade springs w/ retainers? or just springs?
so..like the title says...
can i just upgrade the valvesprings and get away with it? or should i get the retainers with it as well?
i guess if i just upgrade the springs, then i'll be safe up to 8400rpm because the stock retainers are same as itr's... no point of revving up to 9000, if i have stock itr cams, right?
what do you guys/gals think?

since your using itr's, why upgrade anything?
just keep your stock redline and you should be fine.
also, do you have them on yet? if so, what do you think about
them? i'm about to get a CTR intake cam for my motor.

yup, i got'em. car really pulls from 6000 and up. i just have the intake side as well and it's probably the most bang for the buck to date.

from what i hear, the itr intake inner valve springs are the ones you want to replace on the gsr valve train. People have said also that the gsr inners have the same part number as the itr outters *or something like that*. lol, cant remeber anymore and i lost the url!
My advice: Spend some money on a good valvetrain, so you don't cry when you gotta spend $1000 in repairs... Like this guy.
