sohc nonvtec crx help!

Default sohc nonvtec crx help!

I have a 91 crx si with sohc non vtec, lately have run through some problems..my muffler is smoking black when i step on the gas hard and I cant get my timing right becuz of the si dust cover wont fit on zc. It lag very often, cuz i cant even beat a 89 crx si stock. is there any way i can time it right and get rid of the black smoke???

dont black smoke meansu burning oil bad bec of bad piston rings ?

Yeah you can be right about running too rich. I noticed my gas mileage is not too good since i had the si d16 engine. And do u know how that can be fix??

Blue smoke: burning oil
Black Smoke: running rich (fuel problem)
