anyone know???
I filled this application out about a week after i got my A-spec. A month later I got a phone call about a sponsorship deal. I agreed, then was told to expect a contract with in two weeks. It's been about a month and I haven't received anything. I called but they told me that the hurricanes delayed the shipment, and to expect it anytime. I still have not seen anything but ill keep waiting awhile. What are they all about? Do you know what they will be able to offer me?

Threads about these guys have been popping up in the Web forums for a little while, now.
What they do is charge you $80 for a kind of membership deal, under the terms of which you must use their stickers.
In return, they offer you discounted prices for parts.
All I can say is that you should research this carefully. Make sure the prices they have to offer you are good prices compared to normal retailers, and make sure that they can actually get the parts they're telling you about.
Some people have remarked that the prices they're offering their members really are not always better than the normally obtainable prices from larger importers like Password JDM.
Don't be too attracted by that word sponsorship.
Unless you already have a very good reputation in the community as someone that a retailer would want his name publicly associated with, and/or you have a team already involved in Honda Challenge or another legitimate, well known racing organisation, it's unlikely that you are going to attract the kind of "sponsorship" you're really thinking about.
They mean for you to draw this conclusion, of course.
Just be careful and research the prices before you buy into it and plaster their stickers all over your daily driver.
Another hint: I would not normally have clicked on a title that just said "anyone know???" You'd get more response to your queries if your thread titles are descriptive of the subject matter.
Just a little friendly adivce from an old timer.

I kind of doubt it.
They need to make money on the stickers, ya know.

I doubt it; your "donation" is probably actually an application fee if you read the fine print

Just a side note; you can find plenty of info on these guys if you search archived info on sport compact pro or racer x which is who they used to be..
They tend to use a lot of flashy marketing to get people in, just be careful what you are accepting to pay for.. I don't think they will get you the coverage or exposure you are looking for out of a typical sponsor..
They also released a couple "home videos" that are less than professional including a lot of street racing coverage.. I'm not sure if you are looking to associate yourself with that type of marketing..IMO, I avoid having my name or cars involved with entities that present themselves with that kind of behavior on a released video..
Good Luck

what do you mean test? They told me two weeks for the contract and it's been almost two months. They haven't contacted me with any information. I haven't heard from them since the first time they contacted me.
