Default "JDM" Championship White different than "USDM"?

I was always under the assumption that all Championship White Hondas (ITR, CTR, NSX, etc.) used the same Championship White -- NH-0 -- regardless of what country they were sold or marketed in. However, I've recently come across a member (albeit a somewhat new one) who vehemently disagrees with this and states that a "JDM" CW ITR uses a different color and code than a "USDM" ITR. Can anyone positively confirm or disprove this?

Honestly I can't tell a difference at all. A guy I know down in Miami put a CW JDM front on his CW ITR, and after a good wax job, there was no visible difference. Hell, it only needed a wax job because the front end had been sitting for a while.

It's possible the paints are slightly different.

If you go to http://www.paintscratch.com/hondatag.htm they acknowledge that cars with the same color code sometimes have different colors. The example provided is for a Honda/Acura.

There's apparantly a letter on the VIN tag that allows them to formulate the color more accurately. It's comes after the color code and could be either a single letter or single number. Without it you end up with a generic version of the color for your car, which often explain why the touch up you get from your dealer never seems to match quite right.

it's very common on preludes and others.. basically, they only make so much paint at one time, so they have to make multiple batches, each of which ends up slightly different.. most car manufacturers have this as well, especially when the same car is made in multiple factories. this is why when you have major bodywork done, most painters will feather the paint(that and fading due to weather). when i got some satin silver paint for my lude, they actually listed all of the possible secondary codes. the mix was identical..

the paint code is still NH-0 for all of them..
