Gas Mileage
With gas prices increasing I just wanted to see ppl's gas mileage for their Integras. Please tell model , and what rpm's you shift, and city/highway I know this can be searched, but in honor of high gas prices (I saw $2.20 for 87) I wanted to do this.
I get 250 mi, i redline too often, and i do city and highway.
edit
i drive an LS

There have been many threads on this but eh why not.
You said to list model but you never listed yours btw.
I have a 95 GSR, I usually shift at 2500-3000 RPMS. I get around 220 on a full tank. It sounds shitty I know but I'm in the process of replacing plugs, wires, rotor, and dizzy cap. Maybe even my o2 sensor soon. I usually do both city and highway.

the other day i broke my PR. i hit 360 on 10.57 gallons. this week will prove different.
and what's up with the price of diesel? it's more expensive than premium octane.
is wish i didn't have to run premium.

360 miles on not even a full tank!??
Please tell me how you accomplished that amazing feat! That is insane, is that all highway or city too. And when i say city i mean big city stop-go x 1,000 everday. If i could get 300 i would be amazed. Can you tell us some of the things you did to get such great mileage?

210 on an average 10 gal tank. 2000 GS-R
stock with a CAI
always run on high octane
shift point doesn't matter, tried 3.2K, 220 a tank. tried 5K, 210 a tank.
it gets very occasional redline pulls on freeway onramps.

I have a 1994 GS-R 4 door with 114,000 miles. I usualy shift between 3,000 and 3,500, with the occasional run up to 8,000, and I cruise on the freeway at about 72mph. I get about 28mpg combined city/hwy. My best was 33.5mpg. Keep your foot out of it, and always run 91 octane (gs-r/t-r only)
I have a '97 GSR. For 41330.8 miles, I comsumed 1511.152 gallons over 152 fill-ups. This works to 27.35 MPG. My high was 41.68 MPG and my low was 14.82 MPG. Gas mileage really suffers in the winter because the car takes forever to warm up (2-3 miles). I run this car moderately hard, quite ofter seeing 9,000 RPM shifts when entering the freeway. (See my bio for mods.) I usually shift at 3,500 RPM. Cruising in local traffic, I putt along between 1,500 and 2,500 RPM.

do you know if they make block heaters for us? (specifically for this reason). also, why are you running to 9,000rpms? how are you able to rev to that limit?

I'm sure that they do make block heaters, but they only mildly warm the engine to get the oil flowing. (I think that these go into the dipstick.) Also, a block heater only works if you are near an outlet. The GSR motor just has a large thermal mass. I now have a garage, but that doesn't help me at work.
I run to 9,000 because I can.
As indicated in my bio, I have ITR cams, ITR valve springs, titanium spring retainers, a chipped OBDII ECU, and a mildly P&P head. The car pulls to about 8,800 RPM indicated before the torque begins to appreciably decline. The fuel cutoff is indicted at 9,400 RPM, but it is actually 9,000 RPM.

I average 290-300 mi per tank.
I have a B16 in a 94 GSR (don't ask
), and I am running off a chipped P28 that is always in open-loop with fuel maps on the rich side. The little beast lives in VTEC too. Maybe I am seeing better economy because of my .2L less displacment??? You'd think the frequent jaunts to 8600 rpm would negate any fuel economy though? *scratches head* Go figure.
BTW: I usually pay around $2.09 for 93 octane.

I have a 01 Ls. I usually get 260-280ish on my Teg. Thats w/ the warning light on. I think my High was 330miles. I was too scared to keep driving. I only have 55k. The highest gas price i've seen here was $2.49 per gallon. That was Shell too. Thank god for Costco gas. Btw I usually shift around 4500-5500 rpms. I sometimes take it to redline too.

dang I feel sorry for you guys... or maybe I feel lucky for me...
Unfortunately I drive 700+ miles a week.
But fortunately I get around 350+ miles on 10-11 gallons. Shoot I'm usually at 220 miles by the time the gas guage gets down to 1/2.
But that's still $45+ a week for gas.
*edit* oh yeah my car and engine both are about to hit 180K miles, VTEC'd everyday.

350+ on a consistent basis, patrick? mine fluctuates from 280-315-350+. but it's never a given 350+ miles on 10-11 gallons like you're getting. not if it's running to the redline each day.
