Is it better to use OEM Throw-Out Bearing on Aftermarket Clutch?
Hey Guys, just got my ACT clutch and flywheel in and someone told me it is better to use a stock Throw-out Bearing than the one provided with the new kit because the OEM will last longer. Is this true ?
Probably the same... but to play it safe get the OEM, whats a few dollars compared to pulling down the tranny again.

No, it's $40~ as BlueR noted...$43.10+shipping to be exact. Consider it cheap insurance by going OEM.

wow back from the dead, i just put in the one they gave me and now i wish i would have used the OEM. this one the shop didin't grease up enough and it squeaks like a little b*tch
ACT uses Nachi bearings, which are pretty good quality.
I mean I'm a fan of OEM parts but in this case I'd just use the one provided.
If you don't install it properly (IE shop didn't grease it enough) it wouldn't matter if it was OEM or not.
