88 si tranny on a dohc ZC ??
i just got a dohc ZC engine to go into my 88 crx si i need to get a new clutch and was wandering if the flywheel from the origanal D16 will fit on to the ZC can i just go buy a 21 spline clutch which would normally go in to the stock setup and are there any other things that i will need to watch out for in this swap? as far as i have read it is a direct bolt in no problem but it you know of any catches just tell me

Are you sure that is what you had?
The 88 tranny input shaft has a different spline count than the 90 tranny so the clutch disc wouldnt work. You could use the 90-91 Flywheel, PP, and a 87 Prelude disc and that would work.
You can run your 88 flywheel, clutch, and tranny no problem on the ZC. Thats the setup I had when I first put the ZC in.

Maybe my tranny is a 89? I got it from a junkyard from a crx without door mounted seatbelts. thought it was 88, must be 89. I have heard about something different with 88's. My new name is Mr. bad info. LOL jk
