Default BURNING OIL...

last week i noticed i almost had no oil in my car and my valves were ticking. the oil was black, as well. i changed the oil this past saturday and hoped for the best. today, i got on the throttle a bit, which i rarely do, and after smelled burnt oil. i checked, this is 4 days after now, and it was half way gone and black again. what could be going on? what could i have fucked? what should i try? anyone have a B16 theyre willing to part with....for free? ok, yeah, im lame, i know....thanks in advance...

check your radiator and see if there is any oil in there or in the coolant overflow tank.

radiator doesnt seem to have any oil. coolant overflow has a small amount of what looks to be just nasty coolant and water...but it is dark as hell, so there is a possibility that there is a slight amount is there...although id probably be able to tell because of the chemical reaction. either way...what do you think? were you thinking blown head gasket? if theres a problem im hoping its just the head. i still here the valves ticking from time to time... thanks for the help, much appreciated...

If i were you i would just pop the head off and check piston wear cuz it sounds like rings..and while ur at it grind the valve seats..cuz i had the same problem and i replaced piston rings, head gasket and grinded the valves and it fixed my problem..just a thought anyways

I was just wondering becaue if you have a blown headgasket you'd see a mix of oil/coolant.
