I mis posted my last post, i have a 99 civic ex 4dr that i am trying to put a cd player in. i cant seem to get the thing to pop out(the black dash plate with the a/c controls and all on it). does anyone know how to take it off?

also i saw on the internet there is a 98-00 transponder bypass...what is that and is it needed for my car?

 

it just clips in stick a screwdriver behind it and gently pry be careful not to hurt the dash it is veary easy to leave marks

 

i tried to do that but it seemed not to work, it seemed to be stuk on th bottom part of it even with the screws out that were at the bottom. hte only part that seemed to want to come out is the top left corner of the whole thing
