rear disc brakes for 88 crx
I have a 88 crx si and would like to know what honda rear disc brakes will bolt on.
I need to know what other honda cars have inter-changeble brake parts with the crx. I here 90-93 integra rear disc fit right on, trailing links and all, is this true?

I'm about to do this swap with my 89 crx. Yes, the Integra rear control arms and discs fit. Also the 90-91 crx si rear discs fit. Only problem is the stock crx parking brake cables are to short and the integra cables are to long. Use the integra ones but use some creative routing of the cables and they will work fine.
No problem, if ya need to know anything else lemme know. Heres the link to the site where i found out about this swap. Hope it helps.

Just use the trailing arm, reuse all the civic control arms (upper, lower, compensator). Unbolt the compensator arms at the trailing arm. Do not loosen the compensator arm to chassis bolt. Now is a good time to change the trailing arm bushings. Get the DA brake booster/ master cylinder.
Don't expect too much until you do the front.
I bet you noobs are confused now. haha

I'm not really confused yet. I ment to say trailing arm not control arm. I already got the trailing arms off my junk teg, the master cylinder, the prop valve, and the cables. How do I remove the brake booster?
Dont worry about the booster. I swapped rear trailing arms from 90-93 teg onto my 90 civic si without swapping mastercylinder, prop valve, or booster and it stopped awesome (auto-x every other weekend)
I have pics from my swap if anybody wants to see...just ask and Ill email them or whatever

I already have integra front brakes, are the 90'-93' rear discs bigger than the Si? Cuz I got some Si rear brakes just wonderin if I should use em or buy some teg ones if there better.

The rear discs are the same size from the Teg and the Civic and CRX si.

A success, I went to my favorite auto scrap yard and removed the trailing arms, rotors, calipers, emergence brake cables, nuts, bolts, and all except for one thing the brake hoses, but I will get knew ones ordered on Monday. The hoses I'm getting are from the 90 CRX SI or the Integra.
I took the trail link off my 88 CRX and what a dream the Integra trail link fit right on. the emergence brake cables are a few centimeters longer so I routed the cables different and used sheet metal screws, and bent the cable clamps to make it all fit, and it fits well and looks good too. I just need the outer brake hoses and we will see how good they work.

keep in mind you have passive rear suspension and if you want to keep that you would keep your lower control arms. i did this to my 88 dx crx and the wheels stick out about an inch wider in the rear because of that. but if you dont like the twitchness and a bit wider in the rear just use the 89+ crx lower control arms with matching shocks. make sure to use the crx upper compensator arm or else you will have madd positive camber resulting in snap like oversteer.
also, my parts havent come in yet for this conversion (steel braided lines, brake booster, brake fader) so i am running stock m/c, everything with just the trailing arms and lines hooked up and bled and the pedal feel is horrible it is almost to the ground but it stops alright(feels like a dead m/c and brake booster)
